Mr. Richard L. Clark, 81, of Cortland Road, New Paris died Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Clark was born in Everett, PA on February 29, 1936,  he was the son of the late Edith M. (Ritchey) Clark.

On November 5, 1955, he married Nancy C. (Slack) Clark,  In addition to his wife, he is survived by Daughter- Cynthia L. wife of John Coolbaugh, Schellsburg; Daughter- Lorri D. wife of James Kohler, Manns Choice; Granddaughter-  Jonna wife of Chris Monsell; Grandson- Justin husband of Stacy Coolbaugh; Grandson- Jared husband of Mary Kohler; Grandson- Brandon Kohler; Granddaughter-  Elizabeth wife of Jeremy Beemiller and seven great grandchildren.  Dick is also survived by Brother- Ronald husband of Joyce Clark, Monroeville; Brother- Gregory Clark, Harrisburg.   He was preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Steach.

Mr. Clark was a member of the Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren.   He was very proud that he helped build the church. Dick was employed as a dispatcher for Eastern Express Trucking for 21 years.  He also worked for Hall Trucking in Carlisle.   Dick was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and he will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 11th with Pastor Eleanor Fix officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Schellsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dick to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
