Roxanna M. Brant

Ms. Roxanna M. Brant, 54, of Almond Lane, Alum Bank, formerly of Butternut Lane, Alum Bank, died Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at her home.

Roxanna was born in Snake Spring Township on April 20, 1963,  the daughter of the late James F. Brant, Sr. and Jennie P. (Otto) Brant-Griffith.

She is survived by  Daughter- Jessica Brant companion of Gregory George, Alum Bank; Son- Cory Babcock, Alum Bank; Son- Steven Brant, Alum Bank; Daughter- Jayme Loy, Bedford; Son- James F. Brant, III, Bedford; Brother- James Brant, Jr., Bedford; Sister- Elizabeth Marshall, Everett; Brother- William Brant, Schellsburg; Sister- Barbara Morris, Alum Bank and Brother- Thomas Brant, Buffalo Mills. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Roxanna was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Dry Ridge.  She was formerly employed as a cook at the Hillcrest Inn and worked at Duncan Donuts.  More recently, Roxanna was employed as a cashier at the SAC Shop in Bedford and as a driver for Headstart.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 with Pastor John Bennett officiating.

Interment will be held at Dry Ridge Cemetery, Manns Choice.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Pleasantville.
