On March 29th, 2017 heaven gained an angel.   Sandra Lee Crum, of New Paris, PA fell unexpectedly ill in late March. Her last wish upon learning there was nothing that could be done was to pass at home, with family.  Sandy passed on the 29th at 4PM at her home with her son Charles and his girlfriend Sheila Myers.   Sandy was a business owner, a vendor at Bits of Time in Bedford, PA and was a member of the Schellsburg Tractorfest Committee serving as the Chinese Auction Coordinator.
She was a daughter, wife, mother and never met a person whom she did not call friend.  She would like to give special thanks to the Myers family of Schellsburg who accepted her as part of their family and always made sure to make her feel at home.
Sandy was born in Core West Virginia May 7th, 1944.  A graduate of Clay Battelle High School in West Virginia, she had a fulfilling career at Carroll County Hospital in Westminster, MD before moving to New Paris, PA where she worked in the family businesses.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 50+ years Charles Crum Sr. and her Father Archie Bane of Core, WV.
Sandra is survived by her son Charles Crum Jr. of New Paris, PA and his better half Sheila Myers of Schellsburg, PA, her Mother Eileen Bane of Mooresville, WV. ,  3 Brothers;  Dave & Charlotte Bane of Blacksville, WV,  Darrell & Debbie Bane of Mooresville, WV and Dan & Janet Bane of Nags Head, North Carolina and last but not least her newest four legged child Cloie.  She was also blessed to have 4 nieces, 6 nephews, 6 great nieces, 5 great nephews and one great great nephew.
Sandy wished to be cremated and the ashes of her and her husband will be combined.  There will be a memorial/celebration of life gathering for family and friends at the East St. Clair Township building May 7th, 2017 at 1PM- 3PM.
