Vanessa L. (Conrath) Berkheimer

Vanessa L. (Conrath) Berkheimer, age 57, died at 10:05AM on Friday, August 24th, 2018 peacefully at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Born in Bedford on November 2nd, 1960, she is the daughter of the late Betty (Kagarise) and John Conrath.

Survived by 2 sons and a daughter;  Shawn Conrath, husband of Julie (Watkavitch), Kevin Beckett Jr. and Kristie Beckett.

Vanessa is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.  Austin and Nathaniel Ritchey, Kailiee Beckett, Remington Roy, Kevin Beckett III, Maria Getz, Raechelle Watkavitch, Steven Clark Jr. and Alexis Rhodes.

Vanessa is also survived by 4 sisters and 4 brothers.  Peggy, William, Cindy, Steve “Dink”, Jeff, Michael, Jen and Wendee.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers:  Virgil, Gregory, Jack, Timothy and Donald.

Vanessa loved to do plastic canvas, arts and crafts.  She was a hard worker and loved her grandchildren very much.  She spent most of her time with her grandchildren and vising new places.  She will be sadly missed by many.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 6PM on Tuesday, August 28th with Pastor Deken George officiating.
