Evelyn R. (Tew) Oldham

Evelyn R. Oldham, 82, of New Paris, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at UPMC Altoona, Altoona, PA.

Evelyn was born in Bedford on June 26, 1941, daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (Mowery) Tew.

She married her husband John W. Oldham, on March 11, 1978.

She is survived by daughter- Joyce Kauffman, of New Paris; daughter- Barbara wife of Dale Miller, of New Paris; daughter- Vickie wife of Bill Piwowarczyk, of New Paris; daughter- Debbie wife of Frank Platt, of IN; daughter- Teri wife of Brian Barefoot, of Alum Bank; son- Tom Oldham husband of Trudy, of Osterburg; son-Barry Oldham, of FL; daughter- Sherry wife of Joel Onstead, of Schellsburg; daughter- Christina wife of Justin Miller, of Schellsburg; brothers: Tom, Steve, Lester, Ron Tew; sisters: Doris Smith and Diane Tew, along with 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by son- Johnny Oldham, grandsons: Michael Howsare and Aaron Oldham; and brothers: Richard, Ralph, Ed, Charley, Fred, Ken, Roger and sisters: Hazel and Mary.

She was a cook at the Coachroom and was an amazing pizza maker at her time at Sbarros, and supervisor at the South Midway Plaza. She taught many people the art of pizza making. She loved all her "kids" at Sbarros. Evelyn was an excellent cook and was canning up until a month before her death.

She enjoyed spending time with her dog "Junior" and her cat "Ranger", she also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5-7 PM at Mickle Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 2-4 at Mickle Geisel Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 4 PM with Pastor Rick Ralph and Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.

We will miss you mama, but there is an amazing reunion in Heaven right now.
