Joseph E. Hinson

Joseph E. Hinson, 87, of Bedford, Pennsylvania walked into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Spring House Estates, Everett.

Joseph was born in Napier Twp. on June 12, 1936, son of the late Arol B. and Virginia M. (Griffith) Hinson. He served his country in the United States Air Force, married his sweetheart Roberta Bradley, who survives, on January 21, 1956 and retired from Carolina Freight, where he was a truck driver.

He is also survived by son- Bernard A. Hinson, husband of Melissa (Romig) of Hillsborough, NC.; son- Rick L. Hinson husband of Denise (Fisher), of Johnstown, daughter-Shari L. Hinson, of Shippensburg; and sister- Jean Bollman, of Everett. Grandchildren Joseph W. Hinson husband of Kendra (Reed), Joshua W. Hinson husband of Melissa (Rosa), Kaila D. Mitchell, wife of Matthew, Nathan A. Hinson, Emily Jo Shanklin wife of Derek and 7 Great-grandchildren. Joseph is preceded in death by brother- Robert Hinson, sister- Joan Diehl and great grandson Hagan Shanklin.

Interment will be at the Pleasant Hill Bible Church, Bedford at a private family service with Pastor Deacon George officiating. Joseph dearly loved the Lord first then family and friends. A special thank you to his four hospice girls, Denise, Michele, Misty and Stacey.
