Aaron Thomas Van Pelt, 36, of Bedford, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 25, 2023, in Bedford. He was born on March 6, 1987, in Bedford, Pennsylvania.

Aaron was a hardworking, strong, outgoing, and creative man. He had a passion for playing baseball, soccer, and football during his childhood. As he grew older, Aaron developed a love for working in construction and fixing cars. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Aaron believed in helping others, even when he was facing his own challenges. He cherished spending time with his family and always strived to see them happy and smiling.

Aaron was particularly dedicated to teaching his daughter, Geonna, about life and its true meaning. He enjoyed taking her on fishing trips, cherishing the moments when her beautiful smile would light up the day. Although Aaron's time with us was cut short, he touched many hearts and positively impacted numerous lives. Geonna lovingly said, "He died so I could live for him, he left his earthly home just to return to a home where hurting and pain don't exist. I will forever look into the stars and see you watching down on me, just as you always did.

Aaron is survived by his beloved daughter, Geonna Van Pelt, his brother Kyle Van Pelt, his parents Thomas and Heather Van Pelt,
his stepfather Bo Grant, and his grandparents Paul and Margaret Lacas.

Aaron attended Chestnut Ridge Elementary School and later graduated from Chestnut Ridge High School.

In this time of mourning, we remember Aaron's kind and giving spirit. He will forever live in the hearts he touched and the lives he helped. May he rest in peace.
