Anna M.
Earnest
Jul 7, 1938 — Jul 21, 2026
Schellsburg
Anna M. Earnest, 88, of Schellsburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Wayne. Anna is survived by, Son- David Earnest, Son- Daniel Earnest, Daughter- Diane McCombie, Daughter- Deborah Weyant. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Anna was known for her quick wit, sense of humor, and the laughter she shared with everyone around her. She was never seen without her lipstick, blush, and perfectly teased hair. Even after losing her eyesight later in life, she remained determined to look her very best. Her weekly hair appointments were a cherished tradition that she never missed, and she always relied on her granddaughters to let her know that her lipstick and blush was perfect.
Anna proudly owned and operated the Frosty Bear Ice Cream Stand alongside her beloved husband, creating lasting memories for countless families in the community. In her free time, she enjoyed line dancing, bowling in a league and shopping with her daughters and granddaughters.
Anna treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing brought her greater happiness than hearing the laughter of her great-grandchildren fill her home, feeling their hugs, and receiving their sweet kisses. Although it deeply saddened her that she was never able to see the beautiful faces of some of her youngest great-grandchildren, she loved each of them beyond measure.
Our hearts are comforted by the hope that she now sees clearly again and is finally able to look upon the faces of those she loved so dearly.
Anna's warmth and love for her family will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the precious time we shared with her, and we will carry her memory with us always.
Special thanks to Jane Corle for being a wonderful friend, neighbor and caregiver to Anna in her later years. You brought joy and laughter to Anna. Your kindness and love were greatly appreciated.
