Anna C. (Shaffer) Lambert

Mrs. Anna C. Lambert, 95, of South Mill St., Manns Choice, died Tuesday, August 30th, 2016 at Pennknoll Village.

Mrs. Lambert was born in Johnstown on Saturday, January 22, 1921,  the daughter of the late Lewis and Reta (Lohr) Shaffer.

On September 24, 1946, she married Orin M. Lambert.  He preceded her in death on June 19, 1987.

She is survived by  Son- John T. husband of  Joyce Winesickle, Windber; Brother- Gene Shaffer, Ryot. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Blair Winesickle, Joe Glenn Winesickle, Jeremy Winesickle & David Winesickle, and none great grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Ethan, Brandon, Tyler, Maggie-Ann, Katie-Lynn, Julie & Garrett. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John W. Shaffer & Lewis Shaffer, Jr. and by two sisters, Sarah Miller & Ida Richardson.

Ann was a homemaker and a member of the Manns Choice Church of God.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and she will very missed.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Helixville Cemetery.
