Carol J. (Wolfe) Miller

Mrs. Carol J. Miller, 95, formerly of Bedford Street Schellsburg, died Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 at Pennknoll Village.

Mrs. Miller was born in Schellsburg Borough on Monday, November 17, 1919, the daughter of the late George L. and Goldie (Ridenour) Wolfe.

On June 8, 1940, she married Ernest W. Miller.  He preceded her in death on August 16, 2008.

She is survived by Son- Ralph E. husband of Peggy (Wahl) Miller, Schellsburg; Daughter- Judy A. wife of Jay Ickes, Schellsburg. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Molly Grubb, William Miller & Lori Pahl, and five great grandchildren, Rebecca & Amy Miller, Joel & Evan Pahl and Jay Grubb an by her much beloved caregivers at Pennknoll Village. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Miller.

Carol was a member of the United Church of Schellsburg.  She retired from Chestnut Ridge School District where she was employed as a secretary.  Carol was a loving wife, mother & grandmother and she will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 31st, 2015 with Rev. Ruth Shaver officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
