Chadwick T. "Chad" Ewald

Chadwick T. "Chad" Ewald, 46, of Adams Run Road, Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away   on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Chad was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 5, 1976, son of the late Daniel Ewald II and Mary (Buchanan) Ewald of Aliquippa, PA.

On October 14, 2000, he married Teri (Gerula) Ewald.

Chad is survived by his wife- Teri (Gerula) Ewald, Bedford; mother- Mary (Buchanan) Ewald, Aliquippa; daughter- Brittney E. Ewald, Bedford; daughter- Emily R. Ewald, Bedford; daughter- MaKayla J. Ewald, Bedford; brother- Daniel "Buddy" husband of Derita (Smith) Ewald, of James Creek; sister- Danette wife of Mike Hallam, of Aliquippa; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father- Daniel A. Ewald II; paternal grandparents- Albert and Shirley Ewald; maternal grandparents- Harold and Irene Buchanan.

Chad was affiliated with Community Bible Church. He worked as an EMT for Somerset Ambulance Service and volunteered for Chestnut Ridge Ambulance Service, and worked  with Raystown Ambulance Service and was a CPR instructor. Chad was also with the Marklesburg Volunteer Fire Company from 1993 to 2010. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, being outdoors, motorcycles and his family.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 25  from 1 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Christian Light Fellowship Church, 128 Christian Light Road, Bedford, PA. 15522.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, at  1 PM at Christian Light Fellowship Church with Pastor Neil Weaver and Pastor Steve Yancy officiating.
