David M. Hinson

David M. Hinson, 77, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at UPMC Community Osteopathic, Harrisburg.

David was born in New Paris on March 15, 1947, son of the late Merle and Rita (Grasser) Hinson.

On October 9, 1965, he married his wife Peggy (Winegardner) Hinson.

He is survived by son- Brian husband of Paula (Stockenus) Hinson, of Dillsburg; son- Alan husband of Linda (Berry) Hinson, of Mount Joy; daughter- Wendy wife of Jeremy Delrossi, of Mount Joy; son- Timothy husband of Karen (Mader) Hinson, of Harrisburg; son- Todd Hinson, of Allentown; brother- George Hinson, sister- Sharon Feight, sister- Marylee Quinn, sister- Sue Yokitis; along with 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. David is preceded in death by grandson- Joshua Gish, and sister- Cathy Rhinehart.

David was a member of Holy Name of Jesus. He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed farming.

A viewing will be held Monday, September 23, 2024 from 7-9 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes with Pastor Beth Pyles officiating.

Interment will be at Schellsburg Cemetery, Schellsburg, PA.

A time of fellowship will be held at the Chestnut Ridge Bow & Gun Club, immediately following the graveside service.
