Debra Lee Karns, 66, of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 6, 2026 at her home.

Debra was born in Bedford on April 21, 1959, daughter of the late Jacob and Florence (Clark) Herline.

She is survived by son- Andrew husband of Ashley (Slonaker) Karns, of Bedford; daughter-Heather wife of Scott Redinger, of Clearville; son- Steven husband of Courtney (Browell) Karns, of Bedford; seven grandchildren: Lily-Faith, Jason, Alice, Hope, Jacob, Emma, Hallieann; siblings: Stan (Sally) Herline, of Claysburg; David (Teresa) Herline, of Bedford Calvin (Vickie) Herline, of Schellsburg; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Debra was formerly married to the late Rickey Lee Karns.

She worked at the Arena, Landmark, JLG, Howard Johnsons and retired from Walmart. She enjoyed spending time with her family and looking at lighthouses.

A viewing will be held Friday, April 10, 2026 from 5-9 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg and on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 10 until the hour of service at the Manns Choice Church of God, Manns Choice.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11 AM at Manns Choice Church of God with Pastor Aaron Whetstone officiating.

Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Manns Choice, PA.
