Donald A. Kaltenbaugh

Mr. Donald Alton Kaltenbaugh, 77, of Altoona, formerly of Bedford, went Home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 15th, 2017 at Hillview Nursing Home, Altoona.

Mr. Kaltenbaugh was born in Roaring Spring on October 14, 1939,  the son of the late Byron and Clarice (Roudabush) Kaltenbaugh.

He was the beloved husband of Dolly Kaltenbaugh, who preceded him in death.  He is survived by a brother and two sisters and many nieces, nephews and extended family; Brother- David Kaltenbaugh and wife Mary Lou of their sons, David and Brian and families of Delaware, Sister- Jean Scaglime and husband Vince and their children, Kerri, Crissy and Jeff and families of San Diego, CA, Sister- Kathy Wise and husband Bruce of Altoona and their sons, Byron and Bruce and families of Alaska, Niece Patty Housel of Claysburg, Nephew- Ronald Kaltenbaugh of Maryland and their families & Sister-in-Law- Ethel Kaltenbaugh of Roaring Spring.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald W. Kaltenbaugh and two infant siblings.

Don loved the outdoors and spent many days fishing or hunting in and around is home place of Bedford County.

A memorial service will be held at Tulls Hill Bible Church at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 20th, 2017 with Pastor Stewart McClelland officiating.

Interment will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Tulls Hill Bible Church.
