Donald "Lynn" Thompson

Mr. Donald "Lynn"  Thompson, 63, of Bedford Valley Road, Bedford, died Saturday, November 19th, 2016 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mr. Thompson was born in Johnstown on Tuesday, December 23, 1952,  the son of the late Gerald and Virginia S. (Colebaugh) Thompson.

He is survived by  Son- Paul L. Thompson, Portage; Daughter- Christa Ann Thompson, Altoona; Daughter- Kate Czapp, Portage; Son- Cody Lynn Thompson, Bedford; Grandchildren- Kayla, Damien, Lexi, Kyle, Hunter & Jakob; Sister- Donna Thompson, Portage.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Thompson.

Lynn was of the Methodist Faith. Along with his son Cody, he owned and operated L & C Transport, LLC.  Lynn was a hardworking man and went above and beyond to help his family and friends.  Lynn was a wonderful father, grandfather & brother and he will be greatly missed.

A Graveside Service will be held at Greenfield Cemetery, Claysburg at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2016.
