Dorothy A. (Raymond) Ritchey

Mrs. Dorothy A. Ritchey, 78, of W. Graceville Road, Everett, died Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Ritchey was born in Norwood, MA on February 16, 1939,  the daughter of the late Alfred L. and Mabel L. (Grover) Raymond.

On January 1, 1957, she married Jerry A. Ritchey.  He preceded her in death on August 9, 1996.

She is survived by  Son- Jerry W. husband of Brenda (Bollman) Ritchey, Clearville; Daughter- Kimberly A. wife of William K. Mearkle, Clearville; Daughter- Karla A. wife of Steve Swan, Brandy Station, VA; Brother- Al husband of Jane (Snyder) Raymond, Roaring Spring; Brother-in-Law- Jacob Ritchey, Everett. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Josh, Clint, Cody & Jordan, and three special great grandchildren, Addie, Nicolas & Judson.

Dorothy was affiliated with the Everett Church of God.  She was an entrepreneur, being one of the first original owners of Juniata Trading Company and owning restaurants and real estate businesses in the Roaring Spring and Martinsburg Areas.  Dorothy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 with Pastor James Snyder officiating.

Interment will be held at Everett Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Everett.
