Earl Henry Greenawalt, 64, of Clearville, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 in Roatan Island, Honduras.
Earl was born in Everett on January 22, 1962, son of the late Robert and Mary (Grimes) Greenawalt.
On September 30, 2000, he married his wife Lori M. (Rose) Greenawalt, of Clearville.
He is survived by daughter- Danyelle Mahon, of Everett; daughter- Whitney wife of Robert Hinkhaus Jr, of Clearville; stepson- Robert Palm husband of Amy, of New Paris; stepson- Mark Palm husband of Angel, of New Paris; 12 grandchildren: Madisyn, Allison, Audriana, Robert III, Henry, Abigail, Alena, Emmett, Ily, Layla, Tinlee, and Kinzlee; siblings: John (Norma) Greenawalt of Clearville, William (Cheryl) Greenawalt of Everett, and Carol Greenawalt of Bedford; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Earl is preceded in death by infant son and daughter, and niece Amy Greenawalt.
Earl graduated from Everett High School in 1979. He continued his education at ValeTech and graduated in 1981. He had various jobs and owned a few of his own businesses, before retiring from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) in January 2022 after 23 years. Earl was a member of the Cherry Lane Church of the Brethren. Earl enjoyed being a "tour guide" wherever he went. He loved to talk to anyone, he never met a stranger. He had a big smile and laugh that couldn't be missed, always quick with a comeback. Earl had a passion for anything with an engine and enjoyed going to car shows, tractor pulls, farm shows, airshows, exploring caves, listening to music, the beach, and spending time with grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 4-8 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 8 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.
