E. Pearl (Kegg) Ferguson

Mrs. E. Pearl  Ferguson, 89, of Sloans Hollow Road, Bedford, died Tuesday, August 16th, 2016 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona.

Mrs. Ferguson was born in Johnstown on Thursday, March 17, 1927,  the daughter of the late Homer Kegg and Elsie (Hofecker) Kegg-Miller.

On December 13, 1945, she married Joseph F. Ferguson.  In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter-in-Law- Ada Ferguson, Bedford; Sister- Helen wife of  Blair Holler, Buffalo Mills.  She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Ferguson, a brother, Clayton Miller and a sister, Anna Davis

Pearl was a member of the Tulls Hill Bible Church, where she was in the Ladies Missionary Class and served as the Class's President and Vice President.  She was a clerk for 13 years at Rice's Grocery in Bedford.  Pearl also worked at G.C. Murphy's in Bedford  and as an aide at the Bedford County Home.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend and she will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 2:30 PM on Friday, August 19th, 2016 with Pastor Stanley Serafin officiating.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Schellsburg.
