Gabby C. Ferguson

July 21, 1945 — February 27, 2024

Schellsburg

Gabby C. Ferguson, 78, of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from his home in Schellsburg.

He was born in Spring Hope on July 21, 1945, son of the late Clark and Jeanette (Crissey) Ferguson.

On February 24, 1968, he married his wife Nancy J. Vaughn.

He is survived by daughter- Tammy widow of Everett Webb, of Athens, OH; daughter- Sherry Ferguson, of Schellsburg; brother- Ron husband of Nadine Ferguson, of Schellsburg; sister- Betty and friend Jim, of Bedford; sister-in-law Sue Ferguson, of Bedford. Gabby is preceded in death by brothers: Leonard "Mick" Ferguson, Dale Ferguson, Bernard "Turk" Ferguson, Clark "Junior" Ferguson and David Ferguson.

His name Gabby proceeded him. Anyone that met him knew he was quite the character. His stories of growing up on the Ridge were unmeasurable which brought such laughter and a grin to his face while telling them. He wrote his own rules all his life. If you said he couldn't do something that's exactly what he would do.

He loved going to flea markets, working on clocks, classic cars, and local history. Always a joke with his daughters for having a colored television when his favorite was Gunsmoke and Westerns. He missed being able to make his rounds in Bedford to talk with everyone.

At the request of Gabby services will be private at the convenience of the family.

"Don't grieve for me for now I'm Free, my life's been full of good times, family and friends, a loved one's touch".
