George H. Roberts

Mr. George H. Roberts, 69, of Fillo Lane, Bedford, died Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 at Pennknoll Village.

Mr. Roberts was born in Bedford on July 17, 1948,  the son of the late Patrick E. Roberts, Jr. and Lena M. (Wolfhope) Roberts.

He is survived by  Brother- Sam husband of Donna (Diehl) Roberts, Bedford; Brother- Les husband of Pam (Stiffler) Roberts, Knoxville, TN; Sister- Mary Roberts, Everett; Sister- Cecilia wife of Kevin Smith, AZ; Sister- Pansey Pittman, Everett and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Patrick, William and Paul and by a sister, Agnes.

George was a member of the Jesus Christ Church of the Latter Day Saints.  He worked  for 48 years in numerous positions at Howard Johnson's.  George was a wonderful brother, uncle and friend and he will be greatly missed.

A Dedication of the Grave will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 21st, 2018 with Branch President Charles Burket officiating.
