Georgia Lee Branch Vore, 78, of Bedford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Georgia Lee was born on January 3, 1945 in Portsmouth, Virginia, daughter of the late Sgt. George L & Ruth (Jennings) Branch.

On February 25, 1988, she married David L. Vore who preceded her in death on January 2, 2002.

She is survived by her children: David A. Lambert Jr, Everett PA, Trisha Lee White, of Prince Frederick, MD, Tracey Lambert Groff of Hollidaysburg, PA, Tonya Greenawalt, wife of Todd Greenawalt, Everett, PA.

8 Grandchildren: Danny White Jr, Laura Lee Cessna wife of Glen, Nicholas White husband of Brooke, Beverly Novak, Heather Novak, Julie Groff, Joshua Greenawalt & Jacob Greenawalt.

6 Great Grandchildren: Kaylee White, Henry Cessna, Bram Cessna, Emmett Rhoat, Colton & Waylon Sowers.

Also surviving are Sisters: Gale Burns, of Conowingo, MD & Sheri Ann Voorhees, wife of Earl Voorhees of Ivyland, PA.

Proceeded in death by her husband David L Vore, Son Daniel Lambert, Daughter Tarra Lambert, Granddaughter Lauren McCarty & the Father of her Children David A. Lambert Sr.

She graduated from Pen Argyl High School class of 1962 and then attended Prince Georges County School of Nursing.  Her skills were used for many years as a Red Cross Volunteer traveling throughout the Country, aiding in disaster relief.

While at home, before her stroke, she enjoyed attending local auction sales, playing bingo and jigsaw puzzles. More recently she listened to the worship music and watched the Church Services on Sonlife Broadcasting Network.

Georgia Lee enjoyed attending County Fairs, where she competed in sewing and baked goods and received numerous awards.  She was especially proud of her Pennsylvania State Fair prize-winning Hershey's Cocoa Cake.

Through her years of sewing, all of her Daughters had many homemade dresses, jumpers, skirts, costumes and majorette & drum corps uniforms.  She made certain that her family members were gifted with keepsake quilts and cross stitch items.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 7th, 2023 from 10- 11:30 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11:30 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Greenawalt officiating.

Interment will be at Everett Cemetery, Everett, PA.
