James R. Frazier, 64, of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford.
Jim was born in Bedford on December 5, 1958, son of the late William R. and Dorothy L. (Sarver) Frazier.
On July 21, 1979, he married Brenda (Naugle), and spent 44 years happily married.
Jim is survived by his sons: William James (B.J.) husband of Lynette (Dodson) Frazier, of East Freedom; Bruce husband of Lisa (Cameron/Green) Frazier, of Fishertown; grandchildren: Brandon Green, of Colorado; Lea (Green) married to Mark Burkett, of Windber; Kayla Green (friend, Cody),of Everett; and Madison Marie Frazier, at home; who was "Pappy's little Princess" and the apple of his eye; and his grandkits: Misha and Alina; great-grandson: Maverick Burkett; and sister-in-law: Sue (Naugle) Charlton.
He had a very special "Granny"; Marcia Martin and Uncle Charlie; with whom he lived with for 6 years and also a very special "Lady on the Mountain" Barbie Clark and her husband Barry; with whom Jim just loved to visit and talk with for hours on end. Jim was also survived by his brother: Chester husband of (Cindy) Frazier and family: half-sister: Tammy Sue Imler and brother Joey Frazier as well as nieces and nephews.
Jim was a heavy equipment operator and later owner/operator of his own tractor trailer. He loved picnics and spending time with his family and especially his granddaughter who he called his "Princess".
He loved road trips, hunting with family and friends on the mountain and in later years when he could no longer get out and about, just loved spending time with his faithful companion and "Comfort Dog"- Charley Boy.
He was a Master Mason of the 3rd Degree, Woodbury Lodge #539.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 10-11 AM at Helixville Church, Schellsburg.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 11 AM at Helixville Church, Schellsburg; with Pastor Clyde Lasure officiating.
A private graveside service will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.
A special thanks to Brianne Halkovich, Angeline May, Tisa Shreiber, Lacy Cumo, and Linda Swartz of Conemaugh Home Health/Hospice who have provided love and exceptional care over the past months.
