Jane L. Brown

Jane L. Brown, 91, of Bedford, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Homewood at Martinsburg, Martinsburg.

Jane was born in Nanty Glo on December 5, 1932, daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret (Ondriezek) Bowman.

On December 1, 1951, she married her husband George S. Brown Sr.

She is survived by son- Walter L. husband of Ann (Miller) Brown, of Bedford; son- George S. Brown Jr husband of Kathy (Nichols) Brown, of KY; son- Robert E. husband of Lisa (Hemming) Brown, of Bedford; sister- Clara Johnson, of Nanty Glo; seven grandchildren: Holly, Kaleb, Marie, Alicia, Amanda, Alex, and Megan; and ten great-grandchildren. Jane is preceded in death by brother- George Brown.

Jane was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bedford.

She worked as a hospital aide, a school bus driver, Standard Register, and at the Coach Room Restaurant.

She was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping and was a member of Lorelei Ensemble.

A viewing will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 10-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford with Jim Miller officiating.

Entombment will follow at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
