Joel Andrew Vance Sr., 68, of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at UPMC Bedford.
Joel was born in Baltimore on May 25, 1955, son of the late William and Muriele (Powell) Vance.
On January 9, 1983, he married his wife Brenda Lee (Revis).
He is survived by son- Joel A. Vance Jr. husband of Josie (Clark); son- William J. Vance, of Bedford; two granddaughters; stepbrother- John Hain, of Baltimore; and step niece- Trish.
He worked at the Washington Post as a mailer.
A visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 from 2-4 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., Bedford.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 4 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., Bedford with Pastor Adam Kravets officiating.
