Karen Miller

Karen W. Miller, 81, of Altoona, formerly of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona.

Karen was born in Bedford on March 27, 1943, daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Brightbill) Wonders.

 On November 19, 1966 Karen married her husband Ronald S. Miller.

 She is survived by husband- Ronald S. Miller, of Altoona; son– Ashley husband of Wendy (Cawthern) Miller, of Altoona; daughter- Rebecca Smith significant other of Gary Stahl, of Martinsburg, WV; granddaughter- Megan wife of C.J. Hirst; grandson- Mitchell Miller fiancé of Cynda Hoover; granddaughter- Melanie wife of Christopher Ritchey; grandson- Woodrow Smith.

 Karen worked as a medical secretary and as a homemaker; she enjoyed fishing, ballroom dancing, loved animals and spending time with her family.

 A visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 6-8 PM and on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 10-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.

 A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg with Rev. Doug McGaffin officiating.

 Interment will be at Schellsburg Cemetery, Schellsburg, PA.
