Mae D. (Turner) Fetterman

Mrs. Mae D. Fetterman, 80, of Spring Hope Road, Schellsburg, died at 4:45 PM, Monday, December 27th, 2010 at Pennknoll Village.

Mrs. Fetterman was born in Napier Township on Saturday, September 13, 1930, the daughter of the late Fred O. and Vernie (Horn) Turner.

On June 9, 1950, she married Harry L. Fetterman. In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Rodger L. Fetterman husband of  Karen (Neil) Fetterman, Schellsburg; Daughter- Peggy L. wife of  Douglas Rowles, Sanford, NC; Sister- Anna Swartzwelder, Bedford. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer Turner, Harvey Turner and Robert Turner

Mae was a member of the Fishertown Community Bible Church.  She was employed for 30 years as a cook for Chestnut Ridge Central Elementary School.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Fishertown Community Bible Church at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 30th, 2010 with Rev. Larry Bartholomew & Rev. David Wright officiating.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the church.
