Marie G. (Groves) Simons-McClymonds

Mrs. Marie G. Simons-McClymonds, age 88, of Fort Myers, FL, but formerly of Bedford died Thursday, December 22nd, 2011 in Fort Myers, , FL.

Mrs. Simons-McClymonds was born in Kingston, WV on November 12, 1923,   the daughter of the late S.  S. and Gertrude (Swires) Groves.

Marie retired from Hotel Management in Fort Myers, FL.

She was a member of the Bedford Valley Assembly of God Church in Centerville.

She is survived by  Son- William Simons husband of  Nancy Mitchell Simons, Schellsburg; Son- Roger Simons, Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Marie was preceded in death by a son - Richard "Dickie" Simons, Husbands - William W. Simons on November 23, 1963 and Robert McClymonds; Sister - Nellie Miller, Brothers - Lawrence, Harvey & Fred Groves

A Memorial Service will be held at Bedford Valley Assembly of God Church at 2:00  PM on Saturday, January 14th, 2012 with Rev. William Ferguson, officiating.

Interment at Union Cemetery, Centerville.
