Marie K. Williams

Mrs. Marie K. Williams, age 87, of Williams Lane, Schellsburg, died at 11:10 PM, Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 at Pennknoll Village.

Mrs. Williams was born in Bedford on Wednesday, August 27, 1924,  the daughter of the late James Teeter and Mae (Leonard)-Wertz.

On September 1, 1939, she married John M. "Max" Williams.  He preceded her in death on April 9, 1997.

She is survived by  Son- Gary R. Williams, Greenbackville, VA; Daughter- Bonnie M. L'Heureux, Ephrata; Son- John M. Williams, Jr., Schellsburg; Daughter- Georgia M. Williams, Schellsburg; Son- Donald R. husband of  Candy (Taylor) Williams, Schellsburg; Sister- Betty Estep-Frailey, Bedford and White Lake, MI; Sister- Barbara wife of  Jack Black, Winchester, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren,  two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Williams, a daughter, Linda Moffatt and by her stepfather, Boyd Wertz

Marie was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford.  She was a charter member of the Shawnee Valley volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the Bedford American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
