Mary Grace (Wertz) Lybarger

Mrs. Mary Grace Lybarger, 87, of Faupel Road, Manns Choice, died at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 5th, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Lybarger was born in New Baltimore on Sunday, May 18, 1924,  the daughter of the late Elwood and Genevieve (Restly) Wertz.

On November 7, 1940, she married Alfred E. Lybarger.  He preceded her in death on June 10, 2007.

She is survived by  Son- Earl D. husband of  Janet (Payne) Lybarger, State College; Daughter- Connie J. wife of  Blair Hillegass, Manns Choice; Son- Rodney E. husband of  Katie (Kegg) Lybarger, Bedford; Son- James L. husband of  Christine (Fulton) Lybarger, Indiana; Brother- Elmer Wertz, who was reared by Alfred and Mary, Bedford; Brother- Frank Wertz, Jr., Manns Choice. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, David, Scott, Jill, Toby, David, Julie, Dustin and Brian, and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Larry and two sisters, Marcella Cloud and Betty Wertz

Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Manns Choice Church of God.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Manns Choice Church of God at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 9th,  with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.

Interment will be held at  Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg and Friday from 10:30 - 11:00 AM  at the church.
