Mary J. (Rose) Foor

Mrs. Mary J. Foor, 92, of Sunnyside Road, Bedford died Thursday, September 1st, 2016 at Pennknoll Village.

Mrs. Foor was born in Bedford on Friday, June 13, 1924,  the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Welsh) Rose.

She is survived by  Son- Randall Nee, Bedford; Son- Walter husband of Ada Nee, Bedford; Son- Michael husband of Jacquline Nee, Spring Hope; Daughter- Barbara J. Mock, Bedford. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Smith, two infant siblings, three sisters, Elizabeth Mock, Jesse Hughes & Helen Divley and by a brother, Buddy Welsh.

Mary was a member of Paint Brethren Church.  She was employed at G.C.Murphys in Bedford, the Carriage House and Ben Franklin Stores.  She enjoyed cooking and crocheting.  Mary was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 with Pastor David Schoenberger officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
