Mary L. (Allmond) Coder

Mrs. Mary L. Coder, 86, of Altoona, formerly of Friendship Village, Bedford, died Sunday, February 26th, 2017 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.

Mrs. Coder was born in Altoona, PA on November 14, 1930,  the daughter of the late John and Mary Allmond.

On August 17, 1951, she married Charles Coder.  He preceded her in death on June 8, 2010.

She is survived by  Son- Charles husband of  Peggy (Mulhern) Coder, Altoona; Daughter- Linda L. wife of  Dale Brandenburg, Glouster, VA; Son- John Coder, Ebensburg. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Mike, Steven & Susan, two step grandchildren, Nicholas & Denise and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray, Bill, Ermie & Forrest and by a sister, Gertrude.

Mary was a homemaker.  She loved spending time with her family camping, especially sitting around the campfire.  Mary was a lovely woman, a wonderful mother, a devoted grandmother and a good friend.  She will be missed.

Privates services will be held at a later date.
