Meredith D. Speicher

Meredith D. "Mert" Speicher, 91, of Allegheny Road, Juniata Twp., Manns choice, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2024.
Mr. Speicher was born in McKees Rocks, PA on February 2, 1932, son of the late Oscar and Violet (Small) Speicher.
On July 26, 1952, he married Shirley M. Hillegass, and she preceded him in death on August 22, 2004, and Mert was preceded in death by his second wife Raye R. (Whetstone) Diehl Speicher.
Mert is survived by son-David D. husband of Carla (Becquet) Speicher, New Enterprise, Step Daughter- Lisa L. Diehl, Williamsport, Step Son-Larry J. Diehl, Cairnbrook,  Brother-Oscar L. Speicher, Jr, Snake Spring, Brother-Carl and wife Anne Speicher, North Carolina, Brother- Jay and wife Susan (Wentz) Speicher, Bedford, Daughter-In-Law-Marie Speicher, and Sister-In-Law-Evelyn Speicher, Manns Choice, 8 Grandchildren-Richard, Julia, John, Jim, Scott, Angela, Lisa, Katie, 5 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mert was preceded in death by his son-Richard L. Speicher, Grandson-Sean, Granddaughter-Michelle, Brothers-Donald & Charles "Russ" Speicher, Step-mother-Irene Smith.
Mert was a member of Christ Victory Church in New Buena Vista. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and spending time with his family.
Friends are invited to call Monday, January 8, 2024, from 2-6 PM at the Christ Victory Church, New Buena Vista.
A funeral service will be held on January 8, 2024, at 6:00 PM with Pastor Pat Murphy officiating.
