Michael T. Hankinson

Michael Thomas Hankinson, 72, of New Baltimore, PA went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 16, 2025.

Michael was born in Bedford, PA on February 1, 1953, son of the late Dion "Buddy" and Betty M. (Snively) Hankinson.

Michael is survived by his sisters: Betty Ann Quinn (Kevin) of Westlake, FL; Joanne Hankinson of Windber, PA; Angela Taggart of Cincinnati, OH; brother-in-law Willard Doric of Harrisburg, PA. Michael is preceded in death by his beloved sister Carolyn Jean Doric.

Michael will be remembered by his nieces and nephews as a loving uncle who had a heart for children and enjoyed giving them gifts for Christmas.

Michael was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore. He had a strong Catholic faith and devotion to our Blessed Mother.

Michael strongly believed in the sanctity of all life. He was a member of Bedford County Concerned Citizens for Human Life. Michael was a member of the New Baltimore Sportsmen Club. He worked on the large family farm with his father. Every spring Michael planted an amazing garden. He also enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and hunting on the farm.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 12-1 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore, on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm, with Father Mark Pattock as celebrant.

A Committal will be held at St. Johns Cemetery, New Baltimore, PA.
