Ned L. Clark, 86, of Gordon Road, Bedford, PA went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 4, 2022, at his residence.
Mr. Clark was born in Everett on September 16, 1935, son of the late Elton and Mary (Diehl) Clark.
On September 20, 1958, Ned married S. Grace (Allison) Clark.
Along with his wife- Grace he is also survived by Son Jeffrey Clark and significant other- Kelly Sullivan, Schellsburg; son- Rodney husband of Susan (Smith) Clark, Bedford; daughter- Judy wife of James "Jim" Black, Bedford; grandson- Joel husband of Danielle Black, grandson- Jared Black and granddaughter- Emily Clark, brother- Thomas husband of Joyce Clark, Milton; and brother- Stanley husband of Mary Clark, New Paris. Along with his parents Ned was preceded in death by brother- Robert "Bob" Clark and Sister Nancy.
Mr. Clark proudly served his country in the Army and also served in the Reserve and was stationed in Korea.
For 22 years Ned worked for Eastern Express as a Dispatcher and then retired from LB Foster where he worked as a Machinist.
Ned was a member of Alum Bank United Methodist Church and also attended Point United Methodist Church.
He always kept busy and could often be found tinkering on a project and during the "mowing season" Ned enjoyed mowing he and Grace's yard.
Ned was a hard-working and kind husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who brought great joy to so many people’s lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00AM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Sciliano officiating.
If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ned to Point United Methodist Church.
The family would like to thank Pastor Shane for his visits and calls, the Kindered Hospice workers, Michelle, Denise Misty and Chaplain Tim and personal care give Denise, for all their wonderful care and support they have given over the past 3 months.
