Pamela "Pam" Habinyak, 67, of Bedford, peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on Friday, June 20, 2025, in the comfort of her home, with her loving husband of 50 years and daughter by her side.
Pam was born on November 14, 1957, in Bedford to Mary "Bonnie" (Glessner) Welsh and the late John Welsh.
On October 19, 1974, she married the love of her life, Larry Habinyak.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, John Welsh; her niece, Kim Neuschafer; and her great-niece, Addison Grainda.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry; her daughter, Angie Davis of Harrisburg, PA; and her grandchildren: Demeshia Morrow (Davis), wife of Zack, of Harrisburg, PA; DJ Davis and his significant other, Gisel Smith, of Harrisburg, PA. She is also survived by her beloved great-grandchildren, Zuri Morrow and Kai Morrow.
Pam is also survived by her mother, Bonnie Welsh; her sisters: Sharon Neuschafer, wife of Joe, of Murrells Inlet, SC; Joyce Ebersole, wife of Gary, of Osterburg, PA; Betty McCoy, wife of Brian, of Roaring Spring, PA; Karen Bowser, wife of Lem, of Alum Bank, PA; Beverly Hillegass, wife of Joseph, of Schellsburg, PA; and her brother, Dale Welsh, husband of Lisa, of Reynoldsdale, PA; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
Pam was known for her warm and welcoming home, always filled with delicious home-cooked meals and lively double pinochle games. She enjoyed quiet mornings with coffee on the deck and watching birds. She was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers and a proud member of the Pleasantville VFW. Pam loved her family beyond measure and had a heart for helping others-she would do anything for anyone. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, with Pastor Dave Shoenberger officiating.
