Mr. Paul William Fetter, 94, of Imlertown Road, Bedford, died Sunday, November 27th, 2016 at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.

Mr. Fetter was born in Cessna on Monday, October 16, 1922,  the son of the late George and Mary Fetter.

On January 28, 1948, he married Janet Mae (Imler) Fetter.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Roger husband of Maryann (Allison) Fetter, Bedford; Son- Rodney husband of Debe (Foster) Fetter, Carlisle; Son- Rick husband of Wanda (Harbaugh) Fetter, Bedford; Son- Randy husband of Cathy (Zimmers) Fetter, Bedford; Son- Ryan husband of Tricia (Sams) Fetter, Bedford; Brother- Ira Fetter, Fishertown; Brother- Eugene husband of Ruth Fetter, New Paris; Brother- Ira Fetter, Fishertown; Sister- Alice wife of Chuck Miller, Bedford; Sister- Evelyn Wilkins, Manns Choice; Sister- Shirley Ketterman, Bedford. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by the following siblings; Ruth Norris, Myrtle Reisling, Dale Fetter, Carl Fetter, Betty Glovner & Russ Fetter.

Paul was a member of the Pleasant Hill Bible Church, where he served in many ways, including building projects,mowing, and as a Consistory member.  Paul served in the US Army during W.W. II with the Battery A 325th Field Infantry Artillery Battalion 84th Infantry Division.  He was employed as a lineman for Bedford Rural Electric for 40 years, from 1949 to his retirement in 1989..  He enjoyed hunting, watching baseball, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and spending time with his family.  Paul was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and he will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 1st, 2016 with Pastor Cliff Swankler officiating.

Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Bible Church Cemetery.  Graveside military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
