Mr. Ross E. Miller, 84, formerly of Briar Valley Road, Bedford, died at 12:50 AM , Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.
Mr. Miller was born in Woodbury on Thursday, May 27, 1926, the son of the late S. Ross and Bertha M. (Croyle) Miller.
He was married to Doris (Garrett) Miller, who preceded him in death on June 22, 1982.
Ross is survived by Step Son- Terry L. husband of Pamela Garrett, Nashville, TN; Step Daughter- Brenda (Garrett) wife of John Henlen, Mercer; Brother- Richard Ray Miller husband of Ann, Sherman, TX; Sister- Helen Hockenberry, Everett; Sister- Margaret L. "Peg" Foor wife of Bob Foor, Everett. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren, and one step-great grandson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Dale Miller and by two sisters, Evelyn Clark and Edna Hall
Ross was a member of the Pleasant Hill Reformed Church in Bedford. He was employed as a mechanic for Sollenberger Equipment in Everett for 30 years and at Hoagland Equipment for two years.
A funeral service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Raystown Road,Everett at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 29th, 2011 with Rev. Melvin Van Orman officiating.
Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Manns Choice.
Friends are invited to call on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:30 -11:00 AM at the funeral home in Everett.
