Samuel M. Beegle

Samuel M. Beegle, 87, of Victoria Ave, Snake Spring Twp., went to his eternal home with Jesus on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Victoria House, Snake Spring Twp.

Mr. Beegle was born on July 27, 1934, in Bedford, son of the late Glenn S. and Mary (Kegg) Beegle.

On February 16, 1957, Sam married Mary Catherine (Mowry) Beegle. She preceded him in death on November 2, 2016.

He is survived by son- Steven husband of JoAnn (Miller) Beegle, Schellsburg; son- Mark husband of Eva (Schultz) Beegle, Schellsburg; daughter- Elizabeth wife of Felician Yangilmau, Glendale, MD; daughter- Amy wife of Robert Uccellini, Hedgesville, WV; 13 grandchildren- Joseph, Stephen, Adam, Cashia, Nicole, Stacie, Hanna, Samantha, Katie, Emma, Nicholas, Alexander and Zachary, 7 great grandchildren- Kara, Brenna, Aubrie, Alexander, Tristan, Lucas and Ruby and special friend- Carol Showalter. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Mary, brother- Eugene Beegle and sister- Ann Tate.

Mr. Beegle proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.

Sam worked as a Telecom Technician for Texas Eastern. He also was a part-time farmer. Sam was a real outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening. He greatly enjoyed golfing and in his spare time could be found on a golf course.

Sam was a hardworking and kind man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was a member of the Everett Christian Missionary Alliance Church on Mile Level.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 4-7PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 11:00AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford with Pastor Keith Showalter officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Military Rights accorded by Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
