Shirley J. (Sciranko) Zimmerman

Mrs. Shirley J. Zimmerman, 78, of Shed Road, Bedford, formerly of Buffalo Mills,, died Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at Donahoe Manor.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Manns Choice on Saturday, May 14, 1938, the daughter of the late Andrew and Irene (Roudabush) Sciranko.

On January 14, 1956, she married Dewey D. Zimmerman.  He preceded her in death on July 31, 2014.

She is survived by  Daughter- Carol Sue wife of Charles Hardwick, Shreveport, LA; Son- Samson E. husband of Kathleen (Murphy) Zimmerman, New Enterprise; Son- Daniel D. husband of Lori (Callwell) Zimmerman, Manns Choice; Daughter- LuAnn K. wife of Clarence Clark, Bedford; Son- Kenneth A. husband of Angela (Lewis) Zimmerman, Bedford; Brother- Richard Sciranko, Iowa; Brother- Harold Sciranko, Bedford; Sister- Florence Zimmerman, Bedford. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded death by a brother, Charles Sciranko.

Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Tulls Hill Bible Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 30th, 2017 with Pastor Stanley Serafin officiating.

Interment will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Schellsburg.
