Steven Robert Hurley

Mr. Hurley was born in Bedford on Wednesday, January 15, 1947, the son of the late Raymond and Ethel (Sheirer) Hurley.
On December 11, 1970, he married A. Diane (Bowser) Hurley. She preceded him in death on June 13, 2014.
He is survived by Son- Scott J. husband of Marie (Brown) Hurley, Dundalk, MD; Sister- Anna Oldham, Johnstown; Brother- Lee Hurley, Everett; Sister- Esther Wolfhope, Bedford. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Ava. He was preceded in death by a brother, Blaine Hurley and an infant brother Jimmie.
Steve served as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a supervisor at JLG Industries in Bedford.
Service will be held private and at the convenience of family.
Interment will be held at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.
Arrangements entrusted to Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
