Vonley C. Kilby

Vonley C. Kilby, 85, of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at his home in Manns Choice, surrounded by his family.

Vonley was born in Sparta, North Carolina, on August 17, 1940, son of the late Delmas and Selma (Edwards) Kilby.

He is survived by daughter- Mary wife of John Hall, of Darlington, MD; daughter- Debbie Kolakoski, of Eldersburg, MD; daughter- Dawn Kilby, of Bedford; stepchildren: Linda Lilly, Judy Yetter, Cindy Pratt; 8 grandchildren: Karen (Jon) Tennesen, John R. (Brittany) Hall, Joe (Danielle) Whitaker, Alyssa James, Eddie Ollman, Erin Border Bauer, Sarah Lilly, and Victoria Lilly, and 7 great-grandchildren: Dominick, Noah, Eleni, Austin, Kristofer, Hunter, and Niko. Vonley is preceded in death by his wife Shirley (Billings) Kilby and siblings: Charles Kilby, Daniel Kilby, Harold Kilby, Barbara Anders, Iva Jean Boylan, and Kathleen Cox.

He worked for Anchor Motor Freight before it changed names to Leaseway, where he was a truck driver. Vonley was a social member of the Bedford American Legion Post 113 and a Life Member of the Chestnut Ridge Horseman's Club.
