Walter "Wally" George Nee

Walter "Wally" George Nee, 74, of Star Way, Bedford, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Wally was born in Bedford on October 13, 1949, son of the late George and June (Rose) Nee.

On November 11, 1970 he married Ada L. (Houle) Nee.

In addition to his wife Ada of Bedford, Wally is survived by his daughter-Becky wife of Jeff Claar of Pavia, daughter-Beth wife of Karl Poorbaugh of Bedford, three grandchildren-Adam, Jenna and fiancé Nathan Harbaugh, Emma, and one great grandson Maxton.  Wally is also survived by brother-Mike and wife Jackie (Beegle) Nee of Spring Hope, brother Randy Nee, of Bedford, sister-Barbara "Missy" Mock of Bedford.   Walter was preceded in death by a sister Patty Smith.

Wally was a member of Bedford American Legion Post # 113, he enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and loved playing golf. Mr. Nee served his country in the Navy where he served four years. After he was discharged from the Navy he was employed as a Deputy Sheriff for Bedford County, then later worked in building construction.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 26th of October, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Cashdollar officiating.

Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park.
