William D. "Bill" Rininger

Mr. William D. "Bill" Rininger,50, of Forrest Ave., Bedford died at 7:32 AM, Monday, February 7th, 2011 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Rininger was born in Bedford on Friday, August 19, 1960, the son of Alice N. (Rose) Rininger of Bedford and the late Dean Rininger.
On May 8, 1999, he married Janie Joy (Dowdy) Rininger. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by Son- Shanye Evan Rininger; Son- Michael Brady Rininger; Son- John Tyler Rininger, all at home; Brother- Tom husband of Julie (Clapper) Rininger, Bedford; Sister-in-Law- Becky Martin, Clearville; Brother-in-Law- Chris Goodrich husband of Tina, Springfield, VA. Bill is also survived by nieces, Heather & Autumn Rininger, Tiffany Peterson and Stephanie & Sammi Goodrich and nephews,Trent and Jason Martin. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sharon and a brother-in-law, Timothy Martin.
Bill was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church. He was a 1978 graduate of Bedford High School. Bill worked in manufacturing for 26 years at Hedstrom Corporation in Bedford and for four years at JLG Industries at both the Bedford and McConnellsburg.
Bill and his wife were foster parents for six years. He was a big Steelers and PSU football fan. Bill was a member of the Schellsburg Fast Pitch Softball League for over 20 years. He loved camping and attending Bedford High School sporting events.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM, at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Raystown Road, Everett with Pastor Jeff Welsch officiating.
Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home in Everett.
