William Frank "Bill" Stopa

Mr. William Frank "Bill"  Stopa, 64, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday, May 6th, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Stopa was born on Friday, July 13, 1951,  the son of the late Frank William Stopa and Daisy (Gibbons) Stopa Taylor.

He is survived by  Daughter- Kimberly J. wife of  Jason McDevitt, Bedford, PA; Sister- Mary wife of  Roger Williams, Chambersburg, PA; Sister- Linda Stopa, St. Petersburg, FL; Sister- Nancy wife of  Jim Lee, Belle Vernon, PA; Brother- Larry husband of  Carol Stopa, Fountainville, PA; Sister- Virginia Stopa, Everett, PA. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Katlyn McDevitt and by a special friend, Sara Zolna of Hollidaysburg, PA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Stopa.

Bill was employed as a driver for Cumberland Truck Parts.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reminiscing about cars of his youth & visiting with his McDonald's buddies.

A Memorial Service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 16th, 2016 with Pastor Jan King offciating.

Interment will follow at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
