Zachery Paul Sheirer

Zachery Paul Sheirer, 34, of New Paris, Pennsylvania went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at his home in New Paris, PA.

Zachery was born in Johnstown on January 31, 1989, son of Rodney S. and Michelle D. (McDonald) Sheirer.

He is survived by parents- Rodney S. husband of Michelle D. (McDonald) Sheirer, of New Paris; brother- Benjamin J. Sheirer, of Osterburg; maternal grandparents: Bernard A. McDonald Sr. husband of Doris M. (Stufft), and three uncles, two aunts and four cousins. Zachery is preceded in death by an infant sister: Clarissa D. Sheirer, and his paternal grandparents Donald E. and Shirley L. Sheirer.

Zachery was member with the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.

He worked at BRP as a programmer for 15 years. Zachery enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars, reading, motorcycles, online gaming, shooting handguns, strong coffee and enjoyed cooking, and trying the hottest peppers and sauces.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship, New Paris.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 11 AM at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.

Interment will be at Fishertown Cemetery, Fishertown, PA.
