David L. Ferguson

David L. Ferguson, 65, of Adams Run Road, Bedford went to his eternal home with Jesus Monday, April 5th, 2021 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, Snake Spring Twp.

Mr. Ferguson was born in East St. Clair Twp., on June 21, 1955, son of the late Clark "Friday" W. and Jeanette L. (Crissey) Ferguson.

On April 18, 1981 David married Susan E. (Smith) Ferguson.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Adam D. husband of  Stephanie (Plutko) Ferguson, Schellsburg; Grandchildren Madelyn and Greyson Ferguson; Side-kick that was like his second son- Johnathon Henry, Bedford. Brother- Leonard "Mick" husband of  Euda (Claycomb) Ferguson, Bedford; Brother- Bernard "Turk" Ferguson, Schellsburg; Sister- Betty  widow of  Bert Miller, Bedford; Brother- Donald "Gabby" husband of  Nancy (Vaughn) Ferguson, Schellsburg; Brother- Clark Ferguson, Jr. husband of  Joyce (Foor) Ferguson, Carlisle; Brother- Ronald husband of  Nadine (Bailey) Ferguson, Schellsburg.  David was preceded in death by his Brother Dale Ferguson and Nephew- Lenny Ferguson.

Dave was employed by  East St. Clair Twps. where he was the Township Supervisor. He formerly was  employed by Wright Orchards and Your Building Center.

He was affiliated with Crossroads Bible Church, Bedford.

Dave was an avid hunter and enjoyed farming. He was someone you could always count on as well as know he would make you smile with the jokester side he had in him.  Dave would do anything for anyone whether he knew them or not. His grandchildren Madelyn and Greyson were the joy of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Friends will be received on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg and Friday, April 9, 2021 from 10-11AM at Crossroads Bible Church, Bedford where the Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 with Pastor Mark Dillow officiating.

Interment at Old Stone Church Cemetery in Fishertown.
