Doris L. (Fritz) Harbaugh

Doris L. Harbaugh, 92, of Laporte Road, Alum Bank, went home to be with the Lord in her home on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

Mrs. Harbaugh was born in Westminster, MD on January 28, 1928, daughter of the late Millard and Anna Maude (Little) Fritz.

On February 3, 1946 Doris married William (Bill) Harbaugh and had lived in PA ever since. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1979.

She is survived by  Grandson- Kevin L. husband of  Robyn (Stern) McMakin; Granddaughter-  Kimberly (McMakin) Smouse wife of  Joseph R. Smouse, Jr.; 6 great-grandchildren Addisyn and Jule McMakin, Zachary Smouse, Olivia (Smouse) Helsel, Siddiq Smouse, and D.J. Miller; 1 great-great grandson Remington Helsel and one great-great granddaughter on the way, Palmer Smouse. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Bill, daughter- Carol Ann (Harbaugh)  McMakin and son-in-law- GLD (Lee) McMakin, and her 6 brothers and sisters.

She was a member of Faith Brethren Bible Church New Paris since 1973. She loved to go to church. Doris was a hard worker and very independent until the onset of Alzheimer's.

There will be no services and only immediate family for the committal service to be held at Pleasantville Cemetery on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 10:00AM with Pastor James Espenshade officiating.
