Edward "Eddie" A. Hershman

Edward A. "Eddie" Hershman, 75, of Oak Lane,  Everett,  passed away Monday, February 1st, 2021 at his home,

Mr. Hershman was born in Keyser, WV  on July 26, 1945,  son of the late Earl J. and Alice (Reams) Hershman.

On March 4, 2006 Eddie married Lisa A. (Stultz) Hershman.

Eddie is survived by his wife-Lisa Hershman, Bedford; son-Scott E. husband of Toi (Hebden) Hershman and children Carl and Adam, Oakland, MD and Eric and Lindsey Shields; son-Sean A. husband of Cathy (Tasker) Hershman and daughter Julia, Oakland, MD; daughter- Susan D. wife of Pete Strawser and children- Chase, Landon and Grayson, Germantown, MD; daughter- Shannon R. wife of Rachel Scarpelli, Frostburg, MD; step-daughter- April D. wife of Devin Foor and children Alex and Decklyn, NC; step-daughter- Alexis A. wife of Mike Berkey and their children Cole and Zane, Bedford and brother- Craig husband of Debbie (Ruppenthal) Hershman, Oakland, MD and several nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by sister- Romaine Ashby.

Mr. Hershman served his country in the U.S. Army where he served as a Drill Sergeant.

Eddie retired from car sales. He was a past volunteer of Oakland Volunteer Fire Company.

He was a member of Message of Freedom Church, Grafton, WV and enjoyed taking mission trips to Haiti.

Eddie loved music and was very musically talented and played the Saxophone. He also loved working at the herb store and interacting with the customers. Always ready to give someone a hug!

He was an amazing husband, father, pap, brother and friend who will be missed by all.

A Private Service at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford will be held with Pastor Mike Stottlemyer officiating.

Interment at Rocky Gap National Cemetery, MD.

Military Rites accorded by Fort Bedford Honor.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Eddie to Message of Freedom Ministries-Haiti Missions.
