Euniece A. "Niecie" Hickey

Euniece A. "Niecie" A. Hickey, 81, New Baltimore, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at In Touch Hospice in Somerset, PA.

She was born on November 1, 1940, in New Buena Vista, PA, daughter of John and M. Veronica Hickey.

Ms. Hickey was preceded in death by her parents, sister Grace L. Suhrie and her husband Robert L., brother Charles J. and his wife Joann, brother Vincent A. Hickey, niece Gail Ann Karns and sister-in-law Evelyn C. Hickey. She is survived by sons- Richard L. and Michael T. and his wife Kathryn, sister Therese K. Karns, brothers George, Thomas and his wife Doris, Carl, Dale and his wife Virginia, special friends Peggy and Butch of Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Niecie loved spending with family and friends, and she wanted to get along with everyone. Her special friends Patty, Carol, Diane and Margie were particularly supportive during any time of need.

She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Brewster, Ohio for over 39 years. Euniece was a member of their alter society, sacristan, and an altar server for over a span of 17 years. She was also a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Levittown, PA where she volunteered at the school. She worked for 2 school cafeterias in Ohio and waitressed at Howard Johnson for over 7 years on the turnpike in Bedford, PA. Niecie was also a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Baltimore, PA.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 4-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg where a Vigil for the deceased will be held.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Mark Pattock- Celebrant.

Interment at St. Johns Cemetery, New Baltimore, PA.
