Hazel Viola (Keifer) Malone

Hazel Viola Malone, 91, of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away at home on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Hazel was born in Colerain Township on August 3, 1930, daughter of the late Raymond and Irene (Clites) Keifer.

She married her late husband Charles "Bob" Malone, on July 11, 1958, who preceded her in death on February 10, 2022.

She is survived by daughter- Patricia Welsh, of Bedford; son- Mike husband of Jill (Daubert) Malone, Daytona Beach, FL; grandson- Jesse husband of Kylee (Morgart) Welsh, of Bedford; grandson- Jason Welsh, of Bedford and two great-grandchildren- Harrison and Jocelyn.

She worked at the Bedford Springs for 39 years and at the Carriage House for 10 years. Hazel loved reading and being able to talk with friends and family.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 11 AM at Bedford County Memorial Park with Pastor John Bennett officiating. Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA.
